SafeTrac is a powerful vehicle security system that protects vehicles as well as there occupants. With SafeTRAC's innovative software you can interact, communicate with, and administer your car using your mobile phone or from any Internet-connected Web browser. SafeTRAC will also monitor your vehicle for you and send an alert to your cell phone in the event of trouble.
SafeTRAC will automatically report your location and vehicle information in the event of an accident to the SafeTRAC Call Center, your phone, a Web browser, and/or to the authorities, depending on how you have instructed the system.
- ACCIDENT RESPONSE:On receiving an accident alert, a control centre operator will attempt to contact the vehicles occupant via the on board hands-free two way communications system. The operator will attempt to ascertain the status of the vehicles occupants and the vehicle.
- EMERGENCY SERVICE DISPATCH:Should the need arise in the event of a serious accident, a distress call or the operator being unable to contact the vehicles occupants in the event of an accident alert. The control centre will immediately contact the emergency services and police to the location of the vehicle.
- ACCIDENT ASSIST:In the event of an accident, an operator can give step-by-step guidance to the driver. Additionally, we will also make arrangements for a wrecker to move the vehicle, contact your insurance company and arrange for a taxi if necessary.
- PANIC BUTTON:A SafeTRAC option provides a vehicle-based panic button and a hands-free voice kit. In the event of an emergency situation, the occupants of the vehicle can press the panic button. This will instantly send an alert to the control centre with the exact location of the vehicle. In addition, a two way voice communication will be initiated between the vehicle and the control centre.
- VEHICLE HIJACKING:In the event your vehicle is hijacked, you may immediately notify report the incident to the ONTRAC Call Center, and upon notifying the proper authorities, your car will be located and disabled.
- ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM:ONTRAC will automatically detect an attempted theft of your vehicle, automatically disable it, and notify the authorities of a crime in progress. Your vehicle is protected against and will report hotwiring, towing, and break-ins.
- REMOTE CONTROL VIA MOBILE PHONE:Depending on selected options, you can lock/unlock doors and enable or disable your alarm system and siren from your mobile phone.
- LOCATE YOUR VEHICLE VIA MOBILE PHONE:By sending a text message from your phone to your vehicle, you can ask that the vehicle immediately send a report to you. This report will contain the vehicle's current location, including street address and nearby landmarks, and the car's condition, such as if the engine is running, doors locked, and current speed.
- MAINTENANCE REPORTING:Optionally, your vehicle can send you a message reporting certain maintenance alarms, such as oil pressure and battery charge level.
- WEB-BROWSER-BASED VEHICLE LOCATION:See your vehicle's location on a map in your Web browser using the ONTRAC location service.
